Position Overview:

We are seeking two Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologists for an outpatient hospital-based practice near Cooperstown, NY. This is an onsite locum tenens opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule, with ongoing coverage.

End Date: Ongoing

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Setting: Onsite only (no remote reading)

Requirements:

  • Active New York State medical license
  • ABR (American Board of Radiology) certification
  • BLS certification required

Coverage & Support:

  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Call: None
  • APP Coverage: N/A
  • Physician Coverage: Standard departmental coverage

Patient Volume & Case Mix:

  • Average studies: 70–100 per day, depending on patient mix
  • Radiology modalities: CT, Ultrasound (including OB), MRI, Plain Films
  • Some days focus primarily on one modality, other days a mixed case load

Systems & Technology:

  • EMR: EPIC
  • Imaging Systems: McKesson PACS
  • Dictation: Nuance Powerscribe 360 Voice Recognition
