Job Description

Delphi Healthcare is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a rural New Mexico hospital on the night shift.

We're looking for either a seasoned first-chair Hospitalist APP or a strong second-chair provider who is comfortable practicing independently with telemedicine physician support available overnight.

Position Highlights

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • Flexible scheduling:
    • 7 on / 7 off
    • 10 on / 10 off
    • 14 on / 14 off
  • W2 or 1099 employment
  • One-year contract
  • Anticipated start: October 1, 2026

Clinical Practice

  • 12-bed inpatient unit
  • Average of only 1–3 admissions nightly
  • Established APP team with experienced colleagues
  • Overnight telemedicine physician support
  • Low-volume practice allowing for high-quality patient care
  • No ICU currently, with plans to expand to a 3-bed open ICU

Compensation

  • $100/hour
