OB/GYN Opportunity | Up to $628K | Adirondack Region, NY
Lewis County Health System is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to help complete the rebuild of our Women’s Health Service in Lowville, New York. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, hospital-employed practice and play a key role in shaping the future of women’s healthcare in a close-knit rural community.
We are looking for a physician who values leadership, teamwork, and high-quality patient care, with a strong interest in surgical and procedural work.
Practice Overview
- Join 2 Board-Certified OB/GYN physicians with the need for one additional provider
- Supported by 1 outpatient Nurse Practitioner, allowing physicians to focus on surgical and procedural care
- Full-scope OB/GYN practice with active surgical volume
- Opportunity to help rebuild and grow a vital Women’s Health program
Compensation & Incentives
- Very competitive base salary up to $628,000 (full-time)
- $50,000 sign-on and/or relocation bonus
- RVU productivity bonus paid quarterly
- 100% of wRVU value over MGMA 75th percentile benchmark
- Threshold: 2,305 wRVUs per quarter
- Call coverage: 10 days per month
- Additional $1,500 per call day for any coverage beyond 10 days in a month
Clinical Volume
- Obstetric volume:
- 150 projected annual deliveries for 2025
- Goal to increase to 220+ deliveries in 2026
- Scheduled surgical block time 2 days per week
- Additional OR access for urgent and emergent cases
